Retired from Dupont in 2006, where I worked in Nuclear Medicine/Cardiology, Radiopharmaceutical Development, and Marketing & Sales. I’ve been flying for 43 years. I started flying as an Angel Flight Northeast volunteer in 2006. I continued with Angel Flight Southeast when visiting Florida for six months per season and started flying PALS missions in 2011. I have flown over 400 missions for the three groups.
In 1992, after 1 ½ years of preparation, I co-owned a C-172 with a friend and we flew it “across the pond” from Newport, RI to Germany. Long story, great adventure.
Since moving full time to Central Florida, I have had the opportunity to fly many missions for Angel Flight Southeast. I have made a lot of friendships with patients that I’ve flown several missions with, but also been through the hardship of losing several from cancer. Puts life in perspective.
Out of the blue, I recently received a postcard from SouthWings. I have seen a lot of the southeast from my Angel Flight missions and am concerned about our ecosystems and overall environment, so I would like to help out with volunteer flights.
I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Kathi for 54 years. We have one son, Scott who isa VP for JP Morgan Chase in Boston.
