Bob Thomason is a 8,000 hour ATP-rated pilot based in Charlotte, NC. He’s a recovering banker who ran an air charter company for eight years and is now President of the owners group for piston-powered twin engine Cessnas, The Twin Cessna Flyer (www.twincessna.org). Bob flies a Cessna T303 Crusader and has been flying for Southwings for five years. Memorable trips include flying conservationists and lawmakers over the Chesapeake Bay, NC outer banks and Pamlico Sound, mountaintop removal sites in West Virginia and estuaries in coastal Georgia.
